Boniface Ochieng Awuor is the National Public Sector Partnership Scaling and Resource Mobilization Lead at Ambulex Africa, with over 20 years of experience spanning governance, sustainability, and the NGO sector. He is dedicated to strengthening emergency health systems and expanding access to lifesaving services for communities across Kenya.

At Ambulex, Boniface leads national-level scaling and resource mobilization, securing county agreements, mobilizing donor and investor resources, and embedding Ambulex into public health systems nationwide. His leadership ensures that emergency medical services are timely, reliable, and financially accessible, with a reach target of 2.8 million households. He works closely with county governments, national institutions, donors, and investors to build resilient financing models that reduce pre-hospital deaths and strengthen county health infrastructure.

Boniface’s career includes extensive experience in the NGO sector, where he specialized in fundraising, resource mobilization, project reporting, compliance, and monitoring and evaluation. He has strengthened local authority governance through ALGAK, institutionalized ACAHA nationally, mobilized donor resources, and integrated programs into county systems.

His expertise is reinforced by professional certifications as a Scrum Master and Scrum Product Owner, alongside advanced skills in data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication. These capabilities enable him to design scalable, evidence-based solutions and lead complex partnerships with clarity and impact.

He is particularly motivated by opportunities to translate policy into practical systems that improve everyday lives, and to build partnerships that create lasting, system-wide impact.

Boniface holds a Master’s in Sustainable Mobilities and a Bachelor’s in Development Studies, alongside professional certifications in ISO 14001/50001 and audit systems. His background in governance, agile leadership, NGO programme management, and sustainability complements Ambulex’s mission to deliver faster emergency response and strengthen county health systems.
